Been lurking on the forums for a while, but I bought my 200sx SE-R with the hotshot turbo kit already installed. It currently put down 235hp to the wheels at 15psi. It has the following mods:

hotshot turbo kit with t03 turbo
370cc injectors
8.5det pistons
stock maf, stock ignition
fuel presure regulator
300zxtt fuel pump
2.5" cat back exhaust
blitz turbo timer, blitz dual boost controler
apexi SAFC
JWT cams, JWT computer

Rosen autosport just tuned it up, and helped configure the SAFC, so it was running great (think I blew the head gasket - another post on that though, nothing to do with Rosen). What's my upgrade path? I already have the 300zx MAF (thanks Andreas) - should I get 50lb injectors? upgrade the exhaust? new turbo? all of the above?

Why are you running an SAFC and JWT ECU? Is the ECU not tuned for turbo or something?

I agree that it isn't the way I would have done it, but the previous owner had both, a jwt turbo tuned ecu and the afc.

I'd turn down the boost on 370cc's and stock MAF.

50 lb Injectors, 300zx MAF & send to your computer to JWT for reprogram.

Yeah 15lb of boost is way to high, the 370ccs are good for 12psi.

Nice setup by the way.

I would go with 50LB injectors, ECU reprogrammed, 300ZX MAF.

You can run higher than 15 psi with that setup without any problems!

235 whp @ 15 psi sounds pretty weak, i did 250 whp on ~12-13 psi on a teeny tiny T25.

get the MSD 50 lb 4 bar setup, you may not need the 4 bar setup, but if you do someday, then that means sending it off again to JWT and wasting another $100. you will need a FPR for the 4 bar, aeromotive is recommended. get a Z32 TT MAF, andreas sells them for $175, a fuckin deal.

I agree, I was hoping for 260hp or more. I already have the fpr (weapon R), the 300zx MAF (from andreas) so all I need is the 4bar JWT and new injectors... hopefully the recent head gasket blow out will not use up all of my upgrade budget.

ben benavidas (SER2FAST) has MSD 50 lb'rs for $65 each. a good deal. get a fuel rail from www.jgycustoms.com $150 for the rail and connectors.

also, ditch the weapon R FPR, i wouldnt trust something as important as fuel pressure to a weapon R product. remember, if it dies, your motor will with it.
