Hey is there a difference between an NX1600 radiator and a NX2000 radiator?


The only thing I could think is that the 1600 one is the same as the sentra 1.6L which has smaller inlets and a single core.


I wouldnt know though, Ive owned nothing but NX2000's LOL

Some guy I sold an NX2000 radiator is complaining that I sent him a NX1600 radiator... But thats fuckin impossible cause I physically removed it from my 1991 NX2k hardtop. Nothing else had 2 cores (not counting GTiR) even the SE-R only had a single core.... i think homeboy is trippin...

You sold him the 15/16ths core right? If so then I personally think thats a nx rad, but there are people saying that it isn't.

I personally have a 5/8th's radiator in my se-r and would love to have that 15/16's one. If you end up getting it back from him please let me know, because I'll buy it for the right price of course:D

The radiator came out of a 1991 NX2000. LOL How is it not an NX radiator. Ive had 3 of these things. The NX2000 have the double core, the SE-R has the single core. I have never seen anything else.

I wont be getting it back from him. Its an NX2000 radiator. Thats what he paid for, thats what I sold him. Id like to see Nissan specs that there is "another" NX radiator. The only other dual core radiator I know of is the GTiR but that one is the same as the "Nismo" radiator...

seriously dude... I love how he says "Ive never seen an NX radiator, but this doesnt look like one" LOL... Its a fuckin NX radiator its better then the POS SE-R one he has. I dont know what he was expecting. People are getting dumber and dumber.

I am pretty sure the inlets on the ga16 powered cars are smaller, but all the nx's should have the same thicker radiator.

That's good to know. I run into a lot of them. I would just stack the SR20 hose on top of some cut GA16 hoses and throw it in there.

I don't think you will find an aftermarket NX radiator out there that has a core thinner then the OEM nissan. Most I've run across are either 1" or 1 1/4" thick even for the cheapy chinese brands.

Most brands that I deal with just have the smaller inlets and use little sleeves to fit the 2.0 radiator hose.

Thats what i am gonna do with the koyo i bought from a forum member, i was pretty sure it would work.
