well as the title says, i'm new to the world of the 240. i'm not officially an owner yet, i'm going saturday to see this guy and hopefully but it then.

just wanted to drop in and say hi guys.

i'm going to be buying 2 240's actually, one is to fix the other but what i'm thinking bout doing is to fix both instead. the one that is "for parts" doesn't run and the guy doesn't have a title for it, the one that needs some body work done just needs the front of the engine bay straightened up a lil bit and it'll be back to normal... i'm feeling one with the KA and one with the SR or 2JZ. i'll update this with pictures of how the cars look right now sitting at this guy's shop.

well if i do get them, i'm just gonna fix one, sell it and keep the other. i'll find out in a few hours if i'm getting them or not. i have the connections to get a 2jz for only 500, then it'll be just a manner of getting the swap kit

yes it is the engine and transmission and yes it is a 2jzgtte. i've worked for this guy for the last 5 years helping him with all the cars he rebuilds... i've been friends with his kids forever...

and the bad news is that the deal didn't go through with this guy. i won't be getting the 240's after all. i was wanting them to try and be original and do something new with the 240... guess i'll try for another car once i get through basic and tech school
