I have almost all my parts together for my Koni/RS*R race spring combo. Who else has Koni's on their S13? I understand how the fronts install, but what is it that you do to the rears besides the bolt in part? I read somewhere that you are supposed to take the spring collar off of the stock strut and put it on the Koni.

The rears are just a remove and replace. Koni provides good instructions for the install. I had those springs and shocks on my 240. The fronts should be shortened as stock length koni's and those springs will leave very little travel. You can try it if you want first.

I think I just may take your advice Steve. I found a place online that modifies Koni's. Im going to give them a call. How much do you recommend having them shortened (just the fronts.....?) and is there anything else I should have done to them? Also, when I am adjusting the rears, since I know that I would have to take them apart to do so a second time, what is a good setting that is streetable so I can just do the adjustment once and forget about it?
Also, what is the minimum height that the bumpstops should be? I was thinking on going with some ES universal poly bump stops, the ones they make that would fit the fronts are 1 7/16" tall and the ones they make that would fit the rears are 1 1/8" tall. I was just worried that the front ones would not be tall enough or take away travel.
