I have a few questions maybe to pros can help with.

I plan on a small shot, say 50-75 on a non-JWT set up.

1. Will I have to retard the timing on a small shot?

2. What is the preferred Brand to go with?

3. Approxamte cost? (Non-JWT, trying to be thrifty.)

>>> 50 Shot I believe you can leave stock timing....after that(ie 75,100) you want to retard it 1 to 2 degrees per 50 shot. Alot depends on tuning I'm sure.

>>>IMHO They are all about the same....NOS, ZEX, NX. NX does seem to get alot of favoritism due to lifetime solenoid warranty and their accessories. Setup wise....Direct Port.

You can choose either the WET (n2o+fuel) or just the DRY (n2o only). I run the dry system on my 01 SR20DE and just love the system. It's the best bang for the buck, easiest install (Zex).
Your best bet is to run a "non" platinum plug as n2o does not like the platinum due to excessive heat rise and fall (especially our aluminum head). I also here went with the Zex plugs for our cars. Run your timing low to be safe, you can work your way up from the low point, but you just can't come of that peda fast enough when your car starts to detonate.
