The NX isn't running too good all of a sudden. It stumbles and kicks and has no power. I know the plug wires are pretty shot, so I'm gonna get some wires and plugs, but I was wondering if anybody else has had this problem and it was something else.

Also, my #4 plug & wire was drenched in what looked like oily water. Blown valve cover gasket? I was thinking that was what was causing the whole problem, but It still acts up even dry. Input PLZ. Thanks.

have you washed your engine bay recently?

i had the same problem when the plugs, distributor got wet...took it apart and let it sit in the sun for a bit and i was running good.

you might want to see if the plug seals arent worn out and letting water in...

Yeah, I washed it about two weeks ago, but it didn't start acting up until Saturday night. I thought if dried it up, it might be OK, but I dried it out and sprayed some WD40 to displace the water. It helped a little but it still stumbled. After I drive it a little while, it gets worse. On of the rubber things broke off the bottom of the plug boot, so I know that isn't good.

you might have to dry it completely...
i think if you have any sort of moisture it messes up the ignition/combustion

try taking a hairdryer to each plug hole for a few minutes...that might help
