im going to be hooking up a Zex wet kit to my nx. im looking at a window switch, and anything to make it as safe as possible. any and all help is apperciated

I have a used NOS kit from a mustang and boght new jets to rezise to a 50shot and ran great. I kept the timing at @ 17 deg advanced and just ran 93 octane and colder ngk plugs, and a set of their wires, ohh and a chepo ebay header and short ram intake. :rofl:

on my zex 75 shot i have a 255 fuel pump, colder plugs ngk 7's and timing retarded to 13 degrees when using the gas, runs great and i havent have a problem yet, i have 2pc pullies, 2.5in ssac header, pr cai, and s4 cams, 2.5in catback vrs exhaust, very fun setup, just dont get hook on the bottle and start spraying like crazy, i was addicted for bout the first couple of weeks and nos is expensive

Well I had a prob with the cluth and it was my first time at the track. I ran a 14.00 with no traction in first gear and a 1.03 reaction time. :rofl: ( I had the switch on). I ran against a 12 sec vortech supercharged Silverado. The rest of the night I ran a 15.7 all motor no launch. This was done on a ebay SSAC header and ebay short ram intake, with the 50-wet shot. Nitrous is fun but the driveterain does not like all that tourque.

i dont have the slip anymore but i remember it was high 13's but i had no traction at all, i was spraying str8 off the line with the window switch set to come on @ 4000 rpm, i was launching at 2.5k rpm

Reaction time does not affect E/T in any way, in case you didn't know.

Don't worry about any window switch, just use the supplied "box" they give you and tap into the white wire on your tps and there you go WOT switches it on. I would personally keep your timing at 15 degress up to a 75shot, after that, unless your using 104 or up retard it to 13. Now for bolton's go with a ebay header with a 2.5" downpipe, 2.5" exhaust, and a nice intake(jwt pop, home made cai, etc..) If you have the money cams will make the car ALOT more fun( I had s3's) and it was amazing!

I also love the zex kit, because it makes things dummy proof and is very easy to install and use, especially for beginners.

I ran a 13.7@101 on a 75shot with a 2.260ft, so it should definitely run some 13's if you can get some traction, so have fun!

Awesome!! S'3's and a 75 shot will be nice, but make sure you have all the supporting mods first a 3" intake(cai if possible, but not necessary), header w/ 2.5" down pipe, and a minimum 2.25" exhaust, but I would go with a 2.5" with a 20" resonator.

That set-up will yield you some very good times with practice of course, because you are going to have to learn how to launch all that power!

Ok, now for hooking it up. Its very easy and straight forward. All you have to do is tap the red to a 12v, the black to a ground, and the white to the white middle wire on your tps sensor. All the other stuff will be explained in the directions. Its a piece of cake!

You can easily order new jets:confused:
There cheap too. I know you can buy them from zex, if not then nitrous express uses the same jets. If you search you'll find the chart, which shows, which jets you use for the wet side and nitrous side.
