There is a black box on the front of the engine. Its approximately 5x3 in width. It looks like some sort of catch can or pollution device. It is vented directly to the valve cover. 1)If I get rid of this will it cause any problems? 2)How do I go about bypassing this box? 3)Would I still need to run the vent hose from the cover to the intake and if I do this, the f-max intake only comes with 2 tubes as opposed to the Hotshot CAI with 3. Help.

Take the box off. Then ben the pipe a little to the driverside of the car. You can get rid of the hose and run it back into the 2 pipes or get to realy long hoses and relocate your catch can.

I want to get rid of it completely. On the valve cover there are two outlets that form a "T", and on the block ther is only one inlet which means I can run a hose to only one tube one the cover. My question is what do I do with the other inlet on the cover? Do I just plug it up or does it need to breathe somehow?

I have a picture on my machine at home of exactly what you need. I'll post it tonight.
