Hey peps, I have some trouble that I cannot seem to decipher.
I just had the GTIR motor installed and I have a check engine
light. I pulled the codes and got 10-5 - EGRC solenoid/V and
3-5 EGR temp sensor.
I have no idea what this means :-( Am I doing any harm to my motor?
I reset the ECU, and the light hasn't come back on yet.
Although I haven't driven the car, i just let it idle. I have the JWT ecu as the brain.
Any thoughts or advice. Help me out peps! :confused:

You'll be fine. If you're using the GTi-R engine, you won't have any EGR stuff. It won't cause any harm to the engine or its performance; all it will do is give you a check engine light.
