Hey peps, I have some trouble that I cannot seem to decipher.
I just had the GTIR motor installed and I have a check engine
light. I pulled the codes and got 10-5 - EGRC solenoid/V and
3-5 EGR temp sensor.
I have no idea what this means :-( Am I doing any harm to my motor?
I reset the ECU, and the light hasn't come back on yet.
Although I haven't driven the car, i just let it idle. I have the JWT ecu as the brain.
Any thoughts or advice. Help me out peps!

Where are you in MD?

Do you have EGR on that motor? I thought that JWT would program the ECU with out EGR.

I got the 10-5 MIL and it was just the connector came loose. The bitch is trying to reach it. Its below the intake manifold and attached to the block. Its a PIA to reach.

I'm in Randallstown. I have the GTIR motor so it has no EGR emission stuff. What gets me upset is that the guys @ JWT should know to deactivate that as soon as you tell them your running a JDM :confused: They know to do the idle and other goodies without me giving them the order. I hate that light :mad:
How do I get rid of it?
