hey guys ive searched and have been reserching this subject for a while and i manted to know if any one on here and/or in az has done this swap any major modifications or is it as strait forward as an s13 swap ie ive heard that the sr oil pan wil hit the crosmember any help would be appriciated:confused:

i saw sombody that did this and kept the 4wd ur talking baout the pickup right. well he told me that he had to make some room by the firwall and he switched the bell housing from the truck onto the sr20 tranny its on u tube somewhere search around on there. o wait i found it copy and paste and its 4 sale buy this 1 i saw it in person and can vouch that i goes fine http://hudsonvalley.craigslist.org/car/742055624.html

Modifications:


KA24DE bell housing unbolted from transfer case and replaced with SR20DET bell housing. Drive shaft and transfer case lifted to ensure 1" clearance of oil pan. Solid motor mounts welded to frame to ensure easy installation/removal of engine. Recessed firewall 2" for clearance of SR20DET head. Re-routed power steering reservoir/tubing. Spliced all electronic accessories into SR20DET ECM eliminating the need for KA24DE ECM. Upgraded Walbro 255 lph fuel pump. Installed 300zx fuel filter. Complete front mount inter-cooler kit including hot pipe. HKS Blow-off valve. Custom fabricated exhaust. 2" Tow Hitch w/brake control.


New Items:


Battery replaced 6/27/08, Clutch replaced 6/27/08, Right brake caliper replaced 6/15/08.
