I'm happy the engine can hook up to the 5 speed.. let alone trying to source a six speed..

RS5F32 bellhousing does not fit the RS6F51A(or RS6F51H) gearbox. Simple as that.

P12 Primera bellhousing does however make things a lot simpler, seeing as it is a RS6F51 type design :)

The JDM p12 gearbox is open diff, the USDM 6 speed b15 is optioned with LSD. You can fit the HLSD diff head to the JDM 6 speed box, ive done it on mine. Its a nice close ratio box, can move off the line in 1st, and go straight to 3rd then 5th if you are not in a hurry, shift at 8 and it drops to mid 6's.

RS6F51H is the helical LSD box number, 51A is the open wheeler.

The HLSD can also be found in some USDM Maxima's

I spoke to my friend at P2R and he was sayin he can make an adapter plate for under 200 to make it qr 6speed fit the ve

How think will the plate be? I'm in the process of making a flywheel for this swap, and if the plate turns out to be the way to go, I'll modify the design on the flywheel. Right now it's set up for the bell housing swap.

(Which I have 2 sets ready to go, right now.)

Depending on thickness you may run into the frame rail...notching can take care of that, but how much material will be needed to be taken off. Also, you are going to take account that you now have redo the mounts which is a given. Using the Spec V tranny bracket is a perfect fit already, all you have to do is make a custom mount from frame rail to tranny. I am in the process of doing this. Everything I am doing mount wise is one off but I do tend to make a few more mounts for B14 guys using the P12 BH. There are other things that will also be needed like the passenger axle side bracket, rear MM, spindles etc...

also you dont see that many around since it would cost you a pretty penny, roughly more than 2200 bucks, plus you need to have access to fabbing stuff up.

Didnt you ever see that b15 race car w the ve in it. the reason why i am askin when i saw his thread he didnt say it was too hard to install. i was figuring probably custom mounts custom axles n maybe custom shift linkeage how did u get a 22 hundred total for a transmission swap. i price the tranny at 350 just dont think it will be that costly

There's a parts list that shows the cost. The more expensive items are fw and clutch which will cost at least 850. It all adds up after that. There are ways to do it cheaper but I like to have mine hydraulic.
