I'm planning to upgrade my brake system soon, and I was wondering where the best place to source an AD22VF system.
On the other hand, I'm also looking for high performance calipers, Xdrilled/slotted rotors, and SS lines. In other words, is it possible to piece a system together? All that I would need is caliper mounts, right? Thank you for your help.

ijust upgraded my brakes with a kit from fastbrakes.com.

i have my AD22VF brakes for sale. it's powdercoated RED. i'm selling it $125 plus shipping.

i got the rotors too. i don't want any $ for it since it's warped. if you take the rotors to a local shop, ask them to surface them to the MAX to get rid of the warpage, you got yourself some rotors.

B_baker03, make sure you get the tourque members (caliper mounts) with these if you buy them.

oh i'll supply the torque member of course. right now i'm running a wilwood caliper with a custom mounting bracket. i have no use for the torque member.

yes i still got the calipers. they're dirty with brake dust, but they're here.

the pads are worn, so i'd get new pads. i got everything but the stock brake lines. i had goodridge lines but i gave them away. so i got:

2 AD22VF calipers with torque members
2 sets of worn pads
4 caliper mounting screws (if you need them)
2 rotors for AD22vf brake setup.

i'm asking for $120 plus shipping. shipping should be about $25-30 bucks.

let me know. i'll be here=)

Hey Spiff,
What you have right now is exactly what I'm looking to buy. How did you get those custom torque members made? I want a custom system that won't cost a huge amount. I'd like wilwood or baer calipers, where did you order your calipers?

For a completely custom setup, I would need:

-Calipers
-Torque Members
-Pads
-Rotors
-SS lines
-and maybe a new master cylinder?
Right?

Thanks for your responses fellas.

that "custom" mounting bracket is from fastbrakes.com. i said "custom" because it's made for nissan and it's only good for our cars =)

more pics can be found on fastbrakes.com.

i paid $1050 shipped to my door. this kit fits under the 15" stock b14 wheels without a problem. here's what i did so far with my brakes:

11" 2 piece rotor in front (from FB)
2 dynalite Wilwood calipers with EBC red pads* (from FB)
2 SS lines (from FB)
2 custom mounting brackets for the wilwoods (from FB)
2 maxima rear rotors redrilled to 4 x 100 (from FB)
*pads can be wilwood pads or other pads, just ask Brian @ FB for options

EDIT! oh yea, if you want this kit to fit under 15" b14 wheels, spacers will be supplied by FB because of fitment issues. the 3mm spacer i got from FB didn't work, so i purchased a set from H&R 5mm ones. also, maxima rears is a straight bolt-on for b14s, don't work for b13s though.

i've also added maxima rear calipers and an altima MC to my setup. i had Goodridge SS lines in the rear since i had goodridge lines for the AD22VF i had.

i spend a total of 1275ish for this whole setup. it's still a big chunk of $. but when you know your brakes can back you up when you need them most, it's worth every penny.

finding the mounting bracket is the most difficult part. they're custom machined by companies like SMC or Fastbrakes.

good luck with your setup. hope you can find a good deal.
