Okay, I guess my clutch cable must be streching, because after 35,000 miles with my ACT clutch, I'm at the limit of the adjuster and it grabs too low. I assume the washer stacking trick would help, as you put them in between the thumbwheel and the funny bracket, right? My problem is, what about the locknut? That's what is really at the limit of the threads. Have you guys been removing it and putting it on the other side? Or do I not understand the washer trick?

Perhaps I should not be a lazy mofo and buy a new clutch cable?

Edit: Spelling stinks

I just had to replace my cable.I had done the washer thing..but it started riding the plate...sounded like the TO bearing rubbing when in gear....

I got mine for $25 from BAP....just get a new one..:)
