I've got sportline springs already and I'm going to order KYB AGX's, what else do i need?, my strut mount are screwed! factory struts blew a while back.

new bump stops or u could just cut the stock ones down a notch -- thats what I did.

if at all possible, i would get some motivational engineering rear strut mounts. they'll give some extra travel in an already limited space. you may want to get some new bearings, depending on the condition of your 7 yr. old bearings.

are there any camber plates that work with standard lowering springs? are camber plates really needed with a 2" drop?

I believe the $tillen camber plates will work with standard lowering springs, but they are MUCHO pricey!!!!

As far as needing them, my car aligned perfectly after I installed my Pro-Kit/AGX, but that is only a 1.4-1.5" drop. I dunno when you get above 2".

get b13 front agx for more travel in front

yeah b13 agx's up front, and moti-plates sounds like wise advice. I haven't got them though, but I could use more travel for sure.

Anyone know of any shorten struts other than motivational struts for our cars? The price is kinda high. My car is pretty low and I want some struts that will handle well.

They are the only ones that I know about currently. So, ante up or ride rough...

That's why I didn't lower mine more than 1.5".

You should get the Pro-Kits instead... or go coil-over... But like people have said, the B13 AGX front struts, B14 AGX rear struts and Motivational Reart Strut Mounts should give a nice ride (at least with Pro-Kits)

Agreed. I have the Prokit springs w/ B14 AGX's - and I love the setup. I only regret that I didn't go with the Motiv rear mounts.

Hopefully soon I'll have the ST sways to round out the package.

I have the motivational rear mounts...I am unimpressed. I put the car down to where there was one more thread showing on the GC's, and a week later my top hats were broken through because the plates center all the rear-end weight onto a small circular area of the aluminum top hat and it cant take it.

Hmmmm....

Maybe I don't regret my cheap-o decision after all.

Hey 96blkser: Where about in Marietta are you located ? I'm in Marietta ,, we should get together.

PS my son's 95 SER has AGX with Ground Control coilovers 350/300 F/R. We just got finished with the install last week. Set at 3 on front and 5 on rear. Its fairly stiff but turns in really well.

Anyone planning on going to the NOPI nationals at Atlanta Motor
Speedway in a couple of weeks????

96 Polar White SER with 28K on it :) Mods planned

96blkser:

Se-r madness , myself and my son met up this Friday evening. Needed more people though. We are gonna do it again. SE-R madness has a girlfriend in Austell and I'm OK to meet out there somewhere.

Can you suggest a place to meet this weekend?

If you haven't already done so, check out the pic posted by Thomas from Albany on his Turbo 200SX SER. Very nice.

Are you planning on going to the NOPI Nationals at AMS in two weeks? Still looking to get a group together somehow.
