Ok.... ive been stairing at the screen for the last 2 hours and cant get the answer im looking for. Do i or do i not have to remove the EGR when going turbo. If i do, would it be a good idea to put a JDM intake on if I can get my hands on one. Thanks

Well staring at the screen isn't gonna get you any answers. You actually gotta use the search button. Osmosis doesn't work on the internet.

Just messin'.

Yes. You need to remove the EGR. There is no where to pipe it in at. Just get a EGR block off kit (or make one if you can fabricate).

The JDM intake is your call. The good thing about them is they will delete a lot of lines and clean up your engine bay. Less possibilty for leaks also.

Some people have done custom EGR setups, but it would be a royal PITA.

I was able to pass emissions turbocharged by having my egr still in place and instead of the egr tube going to the manifold I put a bung in my downpipe and ran a very high temp hose from it to the egr fitting at the intake manifold. But I say remove it if you dont absolutely need it.

The old hotshot kit had a provision for the egr iirc.
