I just bought a clutch setup and I realized the disk does not look like a act disk.

LMK what you think, I'm kinda pissed and confused.

I've never seen one of those before, the ACT is exactly the one on the bottom pic as I already got one of those (4 springs for the street disc) as I just installed mine recently.

Were you brand cheated? I see some ACT decals in the first pic that is why I ask.

i haven;t recieved it hes a member and im trying to find out if maybe they had a older style disk? He said he would send the money back, but I just wanna be positive it's NOT Act, because the pressure plate has the act stamp on it.

They guy said it came like this when he bought it. Said he bought it new... maybe he got ripped off

I can tell the pressure plate is,indeed a ACT (it's just like mine) but as you already said it, we can not tell the same from the disc.

I wish you luck my friend, I hope it is a ACT old ver or better. rather that a cheap crap disc

Yeah the stamp says 4-26-06...that might be why the disk looks a little different. hahah

b15 had 4 springs as well, I'm assuming its a stock b14-b13 disk...

idk man.. I think you got ripped off. I've bought ACT clutches for some DSMs since like 04 and never seen the overall look change really...

I settled this, I'm getting the setup and just ordering a new disk (6 punk sprung) because the Pressure Plate is obviously the real one lol. And I got a hell of a deal on it ;)

Yeah, the pressur platte are genuine ACT one, but the disk look like a regular/standard from auto parts store...

I have bought ACT street disk in 03 for my Sentra, the older style look same as the new one except the four springs is in metal dark color not yellow and Clutchnet logo near the spline hub.

ya that one looks like the cheapy one my friend got at the local part store
