I tried bending the little flap away from the nut but it doesn't budge....any suggestions?

Yeah I just did what you are trying to do the other day so I could take my turbo apart and clean it up. Here what you do.

Get something thin and a little strong so it dosen't bend when you hit it, i.e. what a did was take a stubby (short one) flat head screw driver and grind the tip into a knife edge and set it in between the nut and flap and tap it with a hammer and it open'd right up. Hint you don't have to fold the flap completly down, just enough to get an open end 13mm on it, thats it hope this help.

When I got the engine I thought it was an octopus with so many hoses......thus I needed to use my digital camera for pictures I have around 100-150 pictures of my engine in various angles. Now it's managable and I can get it on my engine stand to change the rod bearings and the oil pan, the oil pan cracked during shipment.

If anyone needs a picture of anything I most likely have it....:D
