Okay here's a story I wanna pass on to you fellow Sentra SE (SR20) folks.

My car's been experiencing some weird clutch problems the last while and *hopefully* they will be resolved within a few weeks.

Anyways when I first purchased the car I noticed my car had a very short and tall friction point... so I asked the boys at the dealer if they could do anything about it. They told me no, this clutch is hydralic and we can't do any adjustments.

Around X'mas time last year my clutch started pedal started feeling rough and unsmooth so I took it to the dealer and low and behold.... I got charged for a clutch adjustment! That and my clutch pedal felt strange as I wasn't used to it... Anyways I got  *** those morons told me it was Hydralic and now stating it was Cable! Anyways after a heated argument with the service advisor I got a free oilchange outta it... Not to my liking but it's easier to swallow.

*July 18th* I noticed my clutch was starting to make noises again and so again I take it to the same lamers and once I walk in and say I have to get my clutch adjusted the service advisor says "no this car has hydralic clutch" I was like WTF!!! you charged me last time I was in here for a clutch adjustment and now once again u saying it's hydralic? Anyways he agreed finally that it was cable and was going to look into it again.

*Fast FWD a few hours* I call back and they said .... "No we found no problems with clutch, our shop forman is gonna take for spin" I was steamed didn't care so I went back to the dealer and was just going to claim my keys and take it elsewhere. I get there and they said the foreman did find a problem and so ordered a new clutch cable, pedal and bushings.

*Fast FWD to today* I call back to ask where the parts where... and the lamer service advisor tells me they closed the order *** the number I gave them was bad... (yeah sure whatever morons! ) So my car goes back to this shop for the LAST time on August 26th to get fixed... and then from now on I am going to another dealer.

Finally getting that clutch looked at, when I sold my tires to you guys it felt strange....

Sounds like you need a new dealership. Which one are you going to?

When I had clutch problems, my dealership kept my car for a couple of days and couldn't reproduce it. As soon as I picked my car up, I was able to reproduce the problem which one of their mechanics. At least they never told me that it couldn't be adjusted...

Sup guy! Actually when we were admiring each other's car that day that clutch was already adjusted! not to my liking hence why I asked you about the clutch and all.

Anyways I hope things get resolved... I am just dealing with this jackass who calls himself a service advisor... I am going to write a full report of all the going on to the General manager of Alta which I know personally...

I hope it all gets resolved *** if not ... there's gonna be hell to pay!!!:D

Those people at NISSAN need to go work for honda bc no SR20 I know of came w/ a hydraulic clutch! Believe mi i have been there w/ nissan ,WAITING FOR A CLUTCH CABLE for 2weeks bc they claimed that they where on re-call and one had to be shipped from cali. Well i really hope that they solve that problem asap.

avenue nissan is the best.
service department wont' bullshit u into things u dont' need.
they'll even give u free advice on what some of the possible problems are before u have to pay to have mechanics look at it.
can't say enough for parts either, they sell parts by VIN *** so they dont' sell u the wrong part.
stupid st.clair motors sells u the wrong part and claims it's the right part.

Hi Guys!

I got my clutch fixed... so at least I think I did... I mean after driving around /w a bad clutch cable with bad bushings for the last 9 months made me forget how my clutch used to be. It's not Honda light nor is it progressive like other cars but it grabs up top like it did the day I picked up my car. No more free play and I guess that's the way it suppose to be.

Ain't sure *** I've tried a many SR20 cars and no two are alike!
