JUST WANTED TO see the various looks of your nxs with fmic. it does'nt matter if you have a stock front end. it seems that i will not be getting the ad designer kit so i have to look at my options. and tell what brand and size intercooler you are using. thanks in the advanced.and if you have after market front spoiler tell me what pains and loves you have with installing it. how more diffcult it was putting in a fmic. in others words i want to here your long and drawn out story of how you put a fmic on your nxs and include PICS. thanks

I am also curious to know this information. I was told that an NX with a fmic woulod undergo overheating problems. Can anyone verify that? TIA.

The holes in the front helped get air to the radiator.
The hood is now back to normal

Don't post much since I don't have much to say. I peek in every now and then. The NX has been sitting until I have a new downpipe made. I had a second cat. welded in to the downpipe for emissions which left little ground clearance. I had to cranck the fron coil-overs all the way up to get enough ground clearance to drive it. All parts are ordered for a 3" downpipe that will also allow for the external wastegate to dump in to the exhaust. It's just a matter of finding time to get it done.

Matt, its been a while. What set up do you have again? The intercooler looks like a FMAX thats why I am curious. And how did you work around the stock fans? I know ZAK had to use some FAL's.
Please post your URL again.
(2 minutes later......Forget it I found it.)

Also I think Zak needs to post his old NX pics to help clear some questions up.

I'm no longer in the Canton area so you won't see me running around that way. I moved to West Hartford and now work in the South Windsor area. The car is normally parked away in a self storage unit most of the time anyway.
The Intercooler is a custom one from Spearco. It was made using basically the same dimensions as the F-max unit but it doesn't have the fancy end tanks. The turbo is a T3/T4 on a DET manifold. The stock fan (I only had one since the car didn't come from the factory with A/C) was replaced with a slim aftermaket push type fan that sits in front of the radiator.

Well, I have an IC but it is hiding inside the fender (GReddy 300ZXtt upgrade) It's not the best way to go, very little airflow in there. It'll work till I get around to doing a front mount.
