James lives!

I'm gonna try to get there by 8. Lemme know if you wanna caravan (I've got a set of Motorola Talkabouts). I'll be coming from Midway/Frankfort. I've got my KYB adjustables installed so I can play with the settings. :) Sold those damn Tokico Blues in 12 hours to another club member for $150.

Ill be out there with my dads Type R. A few friends of mine are going too. (Black focus on hoosiers, and a silver beetle with many mods and maybe parker in his white SE-R if he gets back in town) See ya there.;)

Look for my CRX "TealMobile" with my new "all your base belong to us" bumper sticker. :) A friend may drive it too. I may have my cousin in his 1st gen RX-7 show up as well.

Registration is 7:30 to 9:00. It's my first time so I'm gonna try to get there 8ish (depending on my date the night before ;) ) and also because I need to secure a loaner helmet *** my 80s DOT approved one won't pass.

How does that loaner helmet thing work anyway? If anyone wants to let me use one of theirs, I'll wear a do-rag to keep it nice and clean.

Look for the giant teal-&-purple beach umbrella!

Hey, where did you SE-Rs guys go? James and them showed up, but were gone by the second heat (I was on cone shagging duty). My cousin showed up in his MP3 and cheered me on. Guess everyone got smart and headed to A/C!

Still waiting for the final results to be posted to see how I placed. This thing can chew up your tires, so maybe a once-a-year thing for me (and NOT in August!).

It was hot! I went over to sit in the shade and ogle Type R's. By 2pm, I was starving and headed off to get some food and go home.

Let us know how you did!

If you thought it was hot over there, try standing in the middle of the field with no shade, a red flag, broken radio and spinning around in a circle like a wind-up ballerina! :p I always said I would try this during the WINTER!!! Those work assignments can kinda suck. I did work the corner with the guy in the white Spec-V with the carbon-fiber hood ... nice guy.

Luckily I brought enough KFC Krispy Strips and bike waterbottles in a cooler to keep me alive.

My lowest run was 51-point-something, my last run was 52.0-something. Lots of tire squealing to keep my 92 hp motor near the red! The KYBs at the highest setting WILL oversteer.

Good to see you guys out there.

The results are in and I am "unknown driver NCSP 777" (my actual number was "77" ... idiots! ... does Equipe Rapide run their show better than these clowns?). But at least they posted three pics of my car:

AND I beat the CRX Si that was towed in on a trailer! (A small victory I admit.)
