Ok. I thought all NX2000 rads were the same. I went to install some slim fans on to a '92 NX2000 rad because that rad was in better condition then my current rad. As I begun to work at it, I saw two metal knobs on the bottom of the rad. Not the plastic knobs that hold the rad in place. I looked on my 1991 NX and I dont have them. What are they for and why doesnt the 1991 NX;s have it? Here are the pics.....

Then they put an automatic radiator in.

Yup no biggie that's just an auto rad equipped with the atf cooling circuit. Your car was either in an accident at some point or the original rad died of natural causes and was replaced.
