I have a 1993 Infiniti G20 with a SR20DET Conversion and T25 Turbo Kit. Car is running awesome. One thing that is annoying me...

Under boost, I hear a honking noise coming from the front left of the car..it sounds like a domestic car holding down their horn until i let off...

Its worst when the car is cold, too..

Any suggestions?

maybe its your blowoff valve

yeah, your BOV is leaking a little boost, making the beautiful honking sound

What do you guysr suggest for a BOV besides the Jspec replacement?

I think its your hand staying on the horn, cause people wont get outta the way when you boost =)


Anyway I think the Greddy Type-S is a good one it has that high pitched sorta sound. The HKS Sequential has a sound that kinda resembles a horse 'phhhbbbb'....
