the water is the rust problem to nx !!!

which they in addition need are a hose a drill press and good nerves
next week comes the front with pictures gives there it also two hoses to move !
good work wishes with the project nx thereby it still for a long time without rust damage drives

My new project: Water Drainage (extending the water drain tubes from the T-Tops to completely exit the bodywork).

Water is what causes the rust problems on the NX!!!

All you need are a hose, a drill, and good nerves.
Coming next week are the pictures of the front since there are two hoses to move!
Hopefully with this work, the project nx will be driven for a long time without rust damage.

Harry, I am sure that your english is better than my german ;-)

I just went through all the rust repair on my nx and was wondering the same thing. WTF? nissan just let the water drain out into the lower rocker pannels? From what i figured out thats how the front and the back is. Thats a pretty good idea with the hose i am gonna do that to the rear of my nx before i start driving it.

Interesting. Anyone else go thru this process?

i just pulle dthe carpet out and found a hole in the floor cuased by bad drainage!!!! damn nissan.............

I went through the repair process i just havent drilled any holes or made the rear drain hose longer yet. I will before its going to be driven, next spring.:(
I want to take my time and do everything right.

Let me tell you its a royal pain in the a$$ to repair 2 to 3 different layers of metal in the rocker area in front of the rear tires. As soon as my card reader comes in from tiger direct i am gonna post some of my 200 pictures of the restoration/repaint of my nx.
