materials;
random wrenches sockets and what not to remove your shifter and linkage
-a vice
-a welder
-hammer
-common sense :D

1st- take out your shifter
2nd- remove all the shtuff around the pivot point
3rd- put the lower end of the shifter in the vice so that the ball is touching the top of the vice
4th- go to town with the hammer ont he top of the shifter
( use a piece of plywood or ****** to protect the threads)
5th- move the ball as close to the bend on the shifter as you want(do not go past you will crack the ball)
6th- now get ur welder and weld little tick marks aboveand below the pivot ball
-this is so it doesnt move while you are driving
8th- now install
9th- u might have to move some kind of heatslhield for the exhaust for this to work beaches the shifter sits lower int he car and lower under the car

NOW INSTALL AND SPEND THE MONEY YOU WOULD HAVE PAYED FOR THE PRE-MADE SHORT THROW ON GAS!!
