i have a 1970 datsun240z i stuffed a sr20det into s13. i have everything hooked up i think. i cant seem to keep the engine running. it will fire but instantly dies.
i i hold the throttle it will rev but die when i let off the throttle. i do have a z32 maf running on the stk ecu for now till i can get it tuned. not sure if this would cause my problem i didnt think it would. any ideas.

yes thats your problem you cannot run a z32 without tuning the ecu for it first. DONT run the car like that it could lean out and have bad drawbacks

im not trying to drive the car just trying to make it idle.
