I just pulled out of my shop, boosted the car and all of a sudden the car started to surge at idle. Sounds like I have a vacuum leak behind the egr valves. I can hear the leak but I cant find it. I must of blown a hose or something. Need some input.

Sounds like the vacuum assist line for the brakes came off the manifold. Follow the line from the firewall to the intake manifold and you may find that it popped off the manifold. Secure zip ties on all the vacuum line connections to try and keep them from coming off, they usually do the trick.

The large hose to the brake booster came of behind the manifold. I guess with boost you will definitely find out what connections are loose. Better now than later.:)
