finally had the time to make a post for my nx. i bought it about 2 months ago from domiken (kevin). i flew to nyc and drove it back. i love the car, i couldn't ask for anything else out of a daily car.

so far since i got it i've added a wai w/ popcharger, cusco front bar, fixed the knock senor stored code (rewired sensor), adjusted the tps (was only reading 3.76V WOT now 4.13V), changed the o2 sensor, plugs, wires, and am also running some auto-rx thru the engine and trans.

but the biggest thing i've done was swap chips on the calum. i ditched the n1 cam program and got a sr16 cam program from erick212 (thanks). that along with fixed the knock code and tps has really changed the car.

in addition to the performance mods i swapped all the emblems on the car and added some decals (not going to spoil it here check the pics).

i plan on eventually getting a ssac header and doing the exhaust (currently stock), and leaving it at that. the car is great drives, good on gas, and can still have fun when wanted. gotta thank kevin for the sale and its in good hands.

i hate to say it but the cars got some potential... personally i would remove the Hamburger ""Nissan"" emblem,NeoVVL stickers, Spec-v sticker and also the Nx-R .....wait a min i just listed all the things you added ... ... w/e floats your boat i guess *shrug*

man i didn't think there'd be so much hate for the vvl decal. i thought it was a good touch. you know similar to the vtec decal.

i knew the spec-v would be shaky. i'm not sure if i like on there too. i know its not a spec-v. but i like whole 'v' for 've' thing.:dunno: guess i'm lame like that, lol.

the nx and the decals definitely are keepers right now. the spec-v i'm 50/50.

the honda vtec logo does look good and i get what your saying..
but yours, unlike the honda, is tooo flashhy...
the honda's are in knock out text, only the outline of i-vtec is there..
yours is a big ugly rectangle on the side..

you can get a custom one made up at the local mall probably..

?? what does this NX-R stand for.. who started it, or wheres it from...
ive seen others with there Nx2000's labeled NX-R, some on cardomain.net and others from a random uk forum.

the mirrors were like that when i bought it. he had them on there to eliminate the blind spot.

well i guess i should've explained the creations, the emblems are all from real cars. the 'NX-' are from a chevy equinox. the 'R' is from a mazda tribute. the 'SPEC-V' is the bumper emblem on the new mitsubishi eclipse (i had to use 2, the 'V' is a second 'C' upside down.

i actually took a .jpeg of the real vvl valve cover plate to a sign shop and they produced the decal for me. so its not totally fake. i didn't do the knock letters because you can't see them that great to me. but they have my order on file so maybe i'll go do that. they were pretty cheap.

and i saw on the dash someone call their nx a nx-r (he may have been uk). i liked it and ran with it. i deemed it a nx-r based on the performance lineage of other nissans that use the '-R' (since it has the ve motor). ie; se-r, vz-r, gti-r, gt-r.

yea the spec V pretty much goes to show.. DONT MAKE YOUR OWN EMBLEMS

There is an actual NX-R designation used in either Australia or New Zealand used on the NX coupe with the 2.0L. All from Nissan down under.

I cant see the pics, but im glad you got everything sorted out. I miss the car a lot, but like you posted, its in good hands and im glad it went to you. When you get the SSAC & exhaust go dyno it, I wonder what the car will make. Its gotta be over 180WHP+ with those minimal mods (without ssac header and exhaust). The badges thing from what im hearing I prob wont like either, but whatever floats your boat, everyone has their own style. You should have thrown another DOHC VTEC like I had on the other side and called it a day

The only way ur allowed to have the Spec-V emblem, is having a QR 2.5L swap.. lol.. . Lose the emblems and stickers..


Just get some badass rare wheels, some big brakes, call it a day :)

Im looking at the pics, yeah man....do your thing, but the side stickers are a little too much. Just get a VVL original emblem from greg for $20 and throw it in the back and take off the spec v stuff
