Car is looking very good. Sounds great and definately moving. Also curious whats the setup. Bone stock or built motor? I wanna crank some high boost through my GTi-R but just a little worried.:D

detailed quickest pass

R/T.....184
60'......1.885
330.....5.185
1/8.....7.743
MPH....96.23
1000...9.930
1/4.....11.769
MPH....122.63

the car has gone 123.33MPH in the 1/4 before.

my setup is basically a U13 w/S4's, 60-1 .63 A/R exh, Spoolin Performance log mani, JWT ECU, Z32 MAF (blow thru), B15 trans, JGY 11lb FW/ 4puck, FMIC, MSD 72LB inj, MSD digital 6 (2step), SAFC2, slicks are 24.5x9x13.

not sure how much more i can pull out of it. hopefully i'll pull the 60' down a little bit.

if the funds allow it will get a winter build and a bigger exhaust housing on the turbo.

:eek2: What have you done in terms of weight reduction?

Very nice man. Time for some race fuel and more boost. I am definately going to look into the msd digital 6. Was not sure if the 2 step was part of it of separate. I am definately trying to figure out a nice setup for a 2 step off the line and yours seems to be doing you good!

Do you finish the 1/4 mile in 4th or since you have the b15 tranny do you finish the 1/4 mile in 5th gear.

with the 24" slicks probably still 4th gear would be my guess, i didnt see the vids yet either

not much really. i took out the spare tire and jack, i removed the A/C system, and the rear wiper motor/blade. other than that it's a full interior street car.

lol, it's already on race gas. if i could run these times and traps on pump i'd be amazed. i don't want to blow it up. my best on pump was a 12.0@119MPH.

i do finish at the top of fourth gear, i'd say around 6.5-7k.

with my old 22x8x15 slicks i'd be damn near on rev limiter trapping 121MPH in 4th.

Oh man, definately thought this was on pump gas. I'm surprised, I have seen my friends with big turbos running 20+psi especially on a cool night with basic 93. Maybe they have just been getting lucky, haha. Impressive car though bro. Don't see many NX guys hitting up the track like that. What did you have the boost set on for these runs? The more I watch your car get off the line, the more I want 2 step. Any pointers on that? I have yet to see any of us SR20 guys and I know with a big turbo, i'm going to need it off the line.

i just don't see what the point of risking detonation is, when i only spend $15-$20 to put race gas in my car and go to the track.

boost was about 23psi. 2step is definitely cool. all the advice i can give is try many different techniques when launching and you'll figure out what works best for your setup.

also, PRE-LOAD your drivetrain! if you dump the clutch with slicks, and it hooks up, your axle WILL break.

Once we hit the track we usually do run at least 110 through our cars. When we do the occasional run to CT they have a spot with 105 at the local pump. unfortunately our neck of the woods has 93 and we have no choice but to try our best.

Thanks for the info bro. I found one of my new favorite NX's on the forum.:biggthump

I always make sure to preload now. I have many axles that show why not to just dump your clutch. My brother and I have gone through about 20 or so axles and 15-20 transmissions.

Yo, guys can I get some advice on the whole preloading? Like how to actually do it?:D I usually feather my throttle around 5.5k to spool the turbo and then slip really fast, but that was with stock street tires, which btw i ran 2.0-2.1's with, I am now using darg radials and don't wanna break my tranny or axles......

basically you just let the clutch out slowly until you feel your car start to either roll a little or want to roll. usually as the yellows start coming down i'll let out the clutch til i feel it roll and then dump it the rest of the way or do a quick slip.
