I need a new clutch for my '93. Any ideas on setups? I don't plan to have anything more than a mild N/A tune on the car (c.a.i., ex, etc.), I also need a good place in the bay area (I'm in SF) to get it done, I don't really feel like getting in there and doing it myself.

Tried and true setup...
JWT Pressure Plate, Nissan 2001 disc, new throwout bearing and clips. Wouldn't be a bad idea to replace the cable while you're at it. Contact Greg at Mossy Nissan, or Brian at Courtesy.

It'll hold all the bolt ons you can throw at it, and the pedal is extremely light, lighter than stock, lighter than the clutch in my 2001 VW 1.8t.

Search the forum for more specifics.

Chris.

This is what I want for my 91 too. I am doing the cable as well. It just feels like shit ***.

I was wondering about resurfacing the flywheel too. 4lbs off the stocker is ok?... but what if it's old?

Chris; that clutch is light on the 01 vw's ***. Not as light as my 96 but light. That extra 30 hp from more boost is nice, but it's laggier than the 99 and earlier ones. The vw cable shifters are kinda vague ***. I guess thats easier on your tranny unlike ours.
