i went to a car dealership today and saw a 92 classic up for sale. i asked the salesman on the price and wanted $3400 out the door. thats including tax and license. i looked at the car and there were a few things i didn't like.
1. radio didn't work.
2. trunk doesn't stay up.
3. 4 different tires. fronts had 205/70/14's.WTF
4. clutch pedal sticks.
5. driver side tailight doesn't work.
6. driver door sag.
7. maaco paintjob. (black)
8. 135k.
9. needs tune-up.
10. pulls strong!!!
11. chirps 4th!!
12. needs new struts.
13. no 5th geaqr pop-out
14. no signs of previous modifications.
15. cracked windshield.
16. bad window tint.

whats a good price for this car??? i offered $1500 cash. he said i was out of my mind. he would not budge. $3400 or walk. i wanted to slap the shit out of him.

$3500- Nope not at all. Way to much. $1500 seems reasonable.

Thats funny because the stealership near me was willing to give me a $1000 trade in towards a new spec-v. I just went there to check it out and maybe test drive it. I laughed at the salesman and I told him not to insult me.

that one sounds like a piece for that price. that mileage is getting up there for a car that costs so much.

btw, if it's chirping 4th gear and it has no modifications, that's really wierd.

it chirped 4th!!! WTF!!! i was really surprised. it's just a mystery to me on what type of clutch is in there. btw the clutch pedal was kind of stiffer than normal. hmmm.

btw, monsoon, i would really like to have your car, but you are way too far away from me. hope it finds a happy home. also, please let us know why you are getting rid of it. don't keep it a secret!:D
