Help me out on the year model of this grille. The honey comb looking one.

I've searched 95-97 and came up short. I could have sworn it was those years on the 4 door GXE. But I've only come across it on 98 GXE's. I'm guessing early 98 too cause all the 99's are different as I thought all the 98's were too. Reason I want to nail down a year is for some salvage yard trips this week. I want to know for sure what to tell the guys at the yards I visit. Some of these guys may be jerks and won't want to be so helpful as I have learned before. Plus I can look on line too. I did find it online listed as a 98, but it did not have the Nissan emblem. I'm going to re-work the front of my 200 with a head light upgrade and this grille.

Here is what I photo shopped. I borrowed the lights and grille from a pic I took of Swiss's car at the Nashville meet in May. Hope you don't mind.

Don't waste time going to the j/y unless you are trying to find one already painted to match perhaps. I don't think you will ever find one in the j/y with good paint that matches. Get a new one from Greg at Gspec (http://gspec.com/); just call him. I got one with enblem and all for under $100 IIRC. Best visual mod for a B14 imo if you have a different grill.

They are all over ebay for $20 bucks or so. I got one when I had my sentra and it was great.

I'm going to keep it all black for now. But, let me know first before you sell it. Who knows I may not like the all black once I get it on. If that happens we can work something out. Are you selling the lights by any chance?

The grille looks great with the outer most part painted blue and the rest black with the nissan emblem. Before I painted it I put it up to the car with those headlights and it didnt look as good as when it was painted(my opinion, u could love it). im not sellin these lights, sorry they look too good on the car(especially with HID's). I found one pic that is very far away from the car but you will get the idea.

I'll keep it in mind for sure if the black looks bad. If it does I'll sell it and get with you. I did think about painting the edge like what you have but this blue we've got is a unique color. I'd be afraid to try and have someone match it on a large scale. My biggest fear is getting hit and dealing with the paint.
