At the last meet on the 17th I was talking to a couple of the guys there, I think nismorob and qinsac, and qinsac was throwing out some ideas of better meets than just BBQing and bull$hiting, like how about (this is the one I think we should do)a track meet at sac or sears point? or a meet where we could install parts on peoples car (location limited of course) if they have a part that they need to put on, not just for the person that is going to put on the part but also for everyone to watch because there is always somekind of trouble you run into or a tip that can make life easier for the install. pictures that people post just arent the same as seing it done first hand. But everyone put in some input on what kind of SE-R meet you would like to see in the bay. As far as the meet on saturday it was nice a allot people came out and I met allot of cool people, and some really good food, I just wish the coals wouldnt have burned out before eddie could grill that halabit, that sounded good. But yea Ideas anyone?

I agree. Here are some ideas, let's make it somewhere in the sac or stockton locations, so all (Max's, Alti's, Sentra, 200SX, 240SX, Spec-V) vehicles can meet and not only talk, but do some work on their cars, do some track and drag race. The boys from the bay did good job and I enjoy it, but we need to go a little further. Let's understand this, it take cooperation on all. I believe if we plan well, we can more than 30-40 vehicles. Let's get all the boards Maxima.org, se-r.net, altimas.net, 240sx.org involved. And see what happens.

It was nice meeting everyone...

Steve and QinSac, did I meet you guys? I don't remember, sorry. There was only 1 other person there that I knew, and I don't spend much time on the forums, so there were a lot of new names and faces to learn.

As for future meets, track day sounds great, especially hot lapping on a road course. Obviously it may be a little too expensive for some, but it's fun just bumming rides off of people too.

Install day would be cool too.

Or we could arrange a driving session, kinda like how bikers arrange group rides. For example, we all meet at point A, hang out a bit to check out cars and wait for everyone to arrive, then take a scenic drive together to point B. No crazy high speed caravans, just a whole bunch of SE-Rs cruising and enjoying the ride!

yea these are all good ideas,. and I hadnt thought of the SE-R ride (I just like how that sounds, SE-R ride!) but as far as track day that seems really cool I think we should go to sacremento raceway and do 1/4 mile,. because just like matma I think said its kinda pricey, but I think at sears point its like $80 for the lunch time session which is like 3 hours not bad. We should just check out what kind of saftey equiptment we need. And as far as meeting me at the meet I was the guy with the red 200sx Se-R I wore glasses and a blue dickies shirt and khaki dickies shorts, I am sure you talked to me. so now time to start looking at dates I will look around at the websites for the tracks and post info about dates and prices and requirements.

peace, Steve Williams

Listen up, pimps, players and high rollers.

I've checked out the different tracks in our area. Sears Point (Inferion, they changed the name) can't do it. You need a a race car, with licenses, roll cage, etc. Thunder Hill Park in Willows, have a nice course, but you would need to go to their all day driving school, cost $195. You can check out their website:http://www.thunderhill.com/

A install day would be nice also. But we need to set a time and where to meet.

I'm down with the track or drags or just rolling down a mountain road. Time frame, how about late Sept or early Oct.

Yeah, track days are fun. I still have yet to get my SE-R out on one of these and I am aiming to get her out on the September ThunderHill track school. $195 isn't bad at all considering you get 4-5 20-30 min sessions. A friend of mine here at work with his WRX and Vishnu Stage 0 really wants me to come along so the cheap old SE-R can whoop on him, hehehe. The more SE-Rs that show up, the better. ;)

Frank actually organized one not too long ago with a bunch of his "other, richer" car friends, but I would like to do another one (once my car looks presentable again) with all SE-Rs. There's a bunch of nice roads that we could cruise around.

Have fun at the track you drag sluts...

- can do 13s without even really trying now, hehehe....

*cough* jealous *cough* :D Dude just head down here, you can race the recovering rice boy. You'll earn extra points for the crumpled hood and custom passenger headlight.

Let's do a install day. September??????Where do you want to meet? What needs to installed? Nothing crazy!!! Gauge pods, brakes, timing, tune ups, etc .

Bay Area pimps, Sacramento players, Central Valley High Rollers, Northern Alliance folks, I need your input.
