it may look real bad, but its under the battery and cant be seen... but its just as good, or probably better than the ES mount insert... and this was totally free!! what i did is put industrial strength epoxy in the hole, then pushed the best size bolt through the other side... so its gona be very very solid when its done! :D
i dunno how to put a pic in here so look on my web page...

while you had it off, why didn't you use urethane? How strong is that epoxy?
You only did this on the tranny strap....and on the website it said you have ES inserts, the torque mounts i assume?

well the epoxy is dry now...and it is ROCK hard!!! i cant wait to put it in... i only did the tranny mount myself. I bought the front and back ES mount inserts. So, out of 4 mounts, 1 is stock, 1 is rock hard, and 2 have es mount inserts. I'd say my mounts are just where i need them now!

Well, here is a question for ya. If you shoved the bolts through during the drying process, then wont the bolts be glued in place and impossible to thread and torque?? Well, its not the prettiest job, but i guess to each his own. I just figured 35 bucks isnt too bad for proffesionally looking and performing mounts.

the bolts i shoved through are ones that dont hold any thing, they are just there to fill in the space. I just put it in and drove around, it may not look better than ES, but its sure as hell performs better!

to others that are planning to do this, make sure that there is enough space inbetween the bolts/metal stock for the epoxy to surround it. if the metal pieces are touching each other, it will rub and make a lot of noise! My friend tried doing the same exact thing except with pieces of 1x.25 inch metal stock and it was a disaster. i would recommend not using pieces of metal at all!

yea watch that, i first just put bolts in, and then put the mount back in... and noticed it wouldnt work... so i had to cut some, and get ones that fit right then glue it... i do notice some kind of sound when i downshift to a kinda high rpm. But the results are worth so much! I wasnt satisfied with the vibration the front and back ES mounts gave me, so i really beefed this one up!

maybe you should try removing the bolts all together. im sure you would get better results that way.
