When doing a 4 to 5 lug conversion and replacing the rear rotors, has anyone had trouble finding a 5 lug rear rotor (that would be for an SE or LE) WITHOUT ABS? It seems everyone I talk to either has the 4 lug base rotors or the SE/LE's w/ABS. So, I called up Qualitee (a company that sells OE replacement rotors made by Brembo) and got dimensions on the 4 lug and 5 lug versions. The difference between the two is that the 5 lug rotors are 1mm taller (when the rotor is laying flat). This means that the rotor "hat" is 1mm taller. On top of that they are 1mm less in diameter, which I'm actually not too worried about. Here were the dimensions I got
4 lug rotor 258 x 9 x 47 (diameter x rotor width x overall height)
5 lug rotor 257 x 9 x 48 (diameter x rotor width x overall height)
Can anyone confirm these dimensions?
Has anyone had any problems?
Do the 5 lug hubs somehow make up the difference in the overall "hat" height?
Thanks to all!
