I've seen DETs before, and I have noticed two distinct varieties...ones with red valve covers and ones with black valve covers.
What is the difference (if there is one)?

A Marine someone gave you bum scoop: look at the following although I am almost positive kman92classic was looking at RWD's because Blacktop AWD/FWD SR20DETs are pretty rare, they are know as W11 Avenir SR20DETs.
Pulsar GTI-R 1990-1994 169kW @ 6400rpm = 226 hp
(SR20DET) TMIC 284Nm @ 4800rpm = 209 ftlbs
RNN14 8:3:1
Burgandy VC
Bluebird 1989-1991 151kW @ 6000rpm = 202 hp
(SR20DET) TMIC 274Nm @ 4000rpm = 201 ftlbs
U12 8:5:1
Burgandy VC
Bluebird 1991-1996 154kW @ 6000rpm = 206 hp
(SR20DET) FMIC 274Nm @ 4000rpm = 201 ftlbs
U13 8:5:1
Burgandy VC
Avenir 1996-1998 169kw @ 6000rpm = 226 hp
(SR20DET) FMIC 275Nm @ 3600rpm = 203 lbft
W10 8:5:1
Silver VC
Avenir 1998-PRESENT 169kw @ 6000rpm = 226 hp

Wow...if that is a complete list, I'm impressed. Now...for bonus points...where was each model released? I'm assuming Japan, Australia, or Europe.

One factor might be whether it is swapped into a b13 or b14 with full interior or a fully gutted Micra.

What about swapped into a Peterbuilt truck or a bulldozer? Anything is possible with the right amount of money. SR20DET Powered Caterpillar for the win.
1/4 mile time on the Caterpillar? Uh.....about three minutes.
LOVE that you SEARCHed, but why bump a four (4) year old post?!? :squint:
