So I changed my axles....tranny fluid leak out quite a bit. I was going to refill her up with Royal Purple manual gear oil. What is the size of the refill bolt anyway?>? that square plug around the tranny.

I hate to go to Autozone and buy 15 different size??lol.:biggthump

Use a 3/8 ratchet or breaker bar for the fill plug, and 1/2 for the drain plug.

Yep, still around. Started working for BNSF Railroad, so I am out of town during the week, but am in town on the weekends.

Also, the fill plug strips out easily and is sometimes seized. So if you cant get it out, you can pull the speed sensor and fill the tranny through there.
