I was wondering if anyone knew any good performace brake rotors and cailbers? mine are going to need replacing soon. I've been looking but their all like 1000-2000 dollars. i'm in college so i don't have much money to spend i was hoping maybe to spend around 3 to 4 hundred dollars. They don't need to be top of the line. Oh yeah mine is a 99 sentra SE too. Thanks

get setup with some used ad22's, or you could get new ones and give them your old brakes as trade-ins (from what I hear they won't know the difference...) use regular brembo blank rotors, and a decent set of pads (personally I use hawk pads)

I like the pads, have them on all four corners, (same car also) dusting isn't too bad, no noise, zero fade. I've heard from other people that they dust too much and eat rotors... I have yet to see that, i've run the same rotors for well over 30,000 miles (and two sets of pads including the current ones) and they seem to work ok for now. For the type of driving I do, I wore out the stock brakes in about 10,000 miles, or less, (this is hilly driving in san francisco) With the new setup, its like butter all the time, and its saved my butt countless times.

This setup wont fade over time, and you'll always be able to stop.

Should run you about 150 for the brakes, another 80 to 100 for the pads (not sure actually) and then maybe 45 per rotor, so should be well within your budget.

On a plus side, if you wanted to upgrade to bigger brakes (if you're pushing some ungodly amount of power) you can get the big brake brackets for like 300 and then the Q45 rotors/pads. Of course you'll need 17"s for those bad boys.

^ Those are the most economical bang for your buck options, good choices indeed. You should also throw on an Altima master cylinder otherwise you'll have the fronts biased alot more than the rears. If you wanna go aftermarket (and you have a big wallet) you can go with a variation of Fastbrakes kits or with one of the huge (and incredibly expensive) SSBC brake kits. To add on to the AD22VF caliper option, you can buy different stage kits from Greg at G-Spec, from a basic kit of calipers, blank rotors and street pads to calipers, slotted rotors, ceramic pads, SS brake lines, and plenty of brake fluid. You can buy an 11.75" rotor that works with the AD22's there as well.

You can get Powerslot rotors for all 4 corners for $300 shipped from RDS Performance (Robchaos). Stainless steel brake lines are $100 shipped and he said he was gonna have Hawk brake pads in stock too.
