If so, what is the A/R for the turbine and compressor? Thanks.

(BTW, I tried searching, but I cant search for T3 since its not at least 3 characters long)

I ran a modified chrysler T3 on my classic. This are the turbo specs:
Bored compressor housing with a turbonetics super 60 wheel and the factory turbine wheel in the .48 a/r housing. With this turbo @11 lbs and an isuzu npr front mounted intercooler and 370cc injectors I did 250whp with an internally stock det(stock cams) and pump gas.

how well do you think a T3 with a .63 A/R turbine and .60 compressor would work? Thanks.

I ran that turbo with a moddified GTI-R manifold.. It put me into the low 13's. At four bar fuel pressure on the 370's I was probably close to 275whp at 13psi. I was told that the turbo would be good for about 300whp.

T3's arent worth the money. better off shelling out the extra bucks for a nice t3/4e.

why?

why do you say that? A T3 might not be as desirable to you.. because you have a 2.4L engine.. They work great on SR20's. I get the T3's much cheaper than the T3/T04's. If you are looking to get 300whp or less.. the T3 is nice.. My turbo spooled at about 2500rpm... and pulled hard all the way to 7800rpm. The only reason I changed is because I wanted to make 400whp.

bent the connecting rod between the turbine and the compressor wheel twice. that's why I'm willing to shell out the extra bucks for a t3/4.

How'd you do that?

You bent the connecting rod? You mean the turbine shaft right? If that is bent.. then it either isn't balanced correctly, wasn't assembled correctly. Turbine shafts don't just "bend" for no reason.

the t3's was put together properly, everything was good to go. but boosting 12 psi for an extended period of time (2 months) tends to put a lot of stress on that specific turbo. It may be better suited for your car, but is highly ill-suited for the KA.
