i dropped by and talked to the owner (or manager). he seems very friendly. they mostly work on hondas and toyotas, but have also built full race cars **. one look in thier shop and you can tell they love to work on cars. i have yet to use their (portable) dyno.

They are pretty good on what they do. I have a friend that dyno his car over 100 times over there.

Just to let you tidewater kids know, i would highly recommend abacus. Just got back from there today, the staff is very knowledgable and extremely helpful too.

I was very pleased. They were very nice and clearly know what they are doing. I would take my care/engine there for service any time I needed it. In the future I bet we could rent the dyno by the hour rather then by the pull and get more people on it and get more time to tune the cars. I got eight pulls and only paid for 1/2 and hour by splitting it with someone else.

i think you can rent it by the hour. sounds like you already did. IIRC, you can get 2 pulls for $50 and $100 for an hour for test and tune purposes.

True, they charge extra for the airflow meter if you want that. I got it for free that day. Really nice guy and I think he was the owner. Most people who own their own business are grumpy (like me);)
