what in the heck is going on with my car?

first: the idle started to fluctuate between 800-200 rpm on 3 different occasions.

second: my car wouldn't turn off unless i turn the key up to the acc position then back down again.

third:my digital clock disappears and my amp that normally turns off when the car is off is now staying on (only the fan actually) the air conditioner always resets itself to 25 c (digital) when i was driving down the road the clock reset itself 3 times than finally just cutoff completely, and the shift lock starts clicking then dies.

fourth:my shift lock wont disengage when i try to put it in drive

fifth:my key wont come out, because its wired into the shift lock, i have to flip and press the red tabs on both the shifter and key hole...

sixth:my car now turns off...normally (or so i hope) but still cant take the key out without manipulation...

i drive an automatic Bluebird sss btw

is there a certain relay or something that happens to control these specific circuits? i checked all the relays next to the fuse block inside the car, and they are all making the usual clicking noises, checked all the fuses and none of them seem to be blown, although i've had one experience that a fuse didnt look blown , but it was, it was cracked....

what the hell is going on...its like my car has been possesed all of a sudden by some evil poltergeist like entity HELP!!!!!!

A clicking relay doesn't mean a good relay, it means the coil is OK but the contacts could be worn out, giving bad connections.

thanx i was really hoping to hear that from someone, all the symptoms are of a bad relay, but wherever i go, people just tell me to hear if it clicks...BUT i've tried switching the relays back and forth between one another and nothing happens....:confused:

anyone ? my cars dying here... :(

I think I would be checking out that ignition switch.
