made this a few weeks ago but just now getting around to taking pics of it since i dont have a digital camera...i used the rings from the stock airbox, and the tubing is from somekind of 10 wheeler truck used as the intake tubing, i used a bandstrap to support it using the hole for the stock airbox, its sturdy as hell..

those metal pipes are actually 3 pieces all together, i had to join them then put hi temp rtv on the seams to make sure no air was leaking...its ugly but it works excellent !!!! and i love the way it sounds...

BTW the top picture is my friends bmw316 with a sr20det in it...

my friend has a 93 xe or gxe i think and he ran the ghettoest cai i've ever seen. he got that flexible aluminum tubing from home depot, the kind that goes to your home drier. he ran that all the way down to his fender well and he used a thin piece of panti-hose at the end of the tube to use as an imitation k&n filter. If i only took a picture i would have it posted.
