When I swapped the U13 sr20de into my 95 200sx a non-lsd transmission came with it. I used it for a while but, wanted the lsd. So I traded it out for a tranny out of a NX2000 I got from the junkyard. Lately the clutch has been slipping along with 1st and 2nd gear starting to grind. I figured while the tranny is out I would swap the non-lsd gear stack into the lsd tranny. Is there any problem with doing that?

you might have an easier time just swapping over the lsd or getting a phantom grip unit. i could be wrong but i think all se-r's can with lsd trannys
The non-lsd case does not have the bump for the lsd diff. You also have to remove the gear stacks to get the diff out so swapping the stacks is one less step. And I'll never buy anything from Phantom Slip.

what happen to a phantom grip you would rather get the lsd box cause right now my box down and i am thinking bout gettin one and puttin it back up
I had a Phantom Grip in my S14. When I went to install it would not fit between the spider gears. I called them and they told me to grind some material off the spiders with an angle grinder. Now I'm no engineer but, grinding on the internals of a differential with an angle grinder sounds like a bad idea to me. Long story short I ended up spending as much for the Phantom Grip as I did my R33 vlsd and I'm much happier with it.
