People in the DSM community have been using 2 sidemounts welded together to create 1 fatty sidemount.

I just recieved my BB I/c i bought from MarkSR20 and it looks to be perfect size if 2 were welded together side by side.

Has this been tried or what are some opinions?

You'll have a higher pressure drop but that about all I can think of.

I think a possible cheaper/better alternative is the starion, the core is exactly the size of two BB cores. cap the tops and weld some inlets/outlets on the sides and you have a nice cheap intercooler capable of 300 whp or so.
