So far tuning my Calum RT ecu for my car has gone well. I think I have the k factor set right so the ecu does not have to do much of its own self-learning (S14 KA so there's no turning off the o2 feedback).

I am a little concerned with the behavior on deceleration. Idle is smooth but I think the computer is compensating more than it needs to. When decelerating heavily in gear, briefly the air-fuel ratios go way lean like they are supposed to when you shut off the injectors. But then they come back to 16 or so until I get back on the throttle where they go back to 14.7 or so. Decelerating lightly in gear will actually make the ratios go richer like to 12-13 or so. With my previous setup (SAFC and stock maf) the air-fuel ratios would go way lean whenever I decelerated in gear lightly or heavily. So I am wondering if I have some parameters scaled improperly.

Mechanically everything should be fine, i.e. no boost leaks, revs to redline, and air-fuel ratios stay near spec (still gets a little richer than 11 at full load but i'm working on that). After a hard pull rpms tend to take a while to come down to idle. It hovers around 1500 then slowly comes down to 850-900 where I have it set via the IAC adjustment.

Setup:
'96 Nissan 240SX
'97 KA24DET
'95 Calum Rt ecu
z32 maf (N62)
370cc injectors
Forge recirculated diverter valve
S14RT.xdf (with lines added for MAF Voltage Enrichment)

Injector K-value: 535
Injector Scaled Constant: 128 (wasn't sure which direction to go with this but changing it +/- 50 did not seem to do anything)
Injector Latency: .58
Low Maf voltage enrichment trigger: .05 (essentially zeroed out, does not seem to make a difference between this and stock setting of .6)
The last two tp columns are 138 and 156 (1.5x greater than stock) and at 6lbs of boost I get to a tp of 130.
I can post my bin if it makes a difference. Any advice yall could give me would be greatly appreciated.
-Thanks

Ps: The xdf file for the S14 may be a little messed up in regards to the VE maps. The TP scale is wierd, the right column lists MaxTP,E,D,C,B,A,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 and then the left column has tp values going up and down (120,255,48,39,104...). It makes the map look screwy. So far I have been using Nistune to make changes to the VE map since it displays correctly.

Can you post your bin?

Yea, I need to update the S14 xdf.

Apparently I cannot post attachments on this board....don't know why, its not like its listed in the rules or anything. Anyway I emailed you my bin, let me know whatcha find.

Thanks.

Yea, you can only post in this sub-section-

Historical anachronism. :)
