I was having problems on my car with the speedometer not working, and i noticed the trip meter and odometer didnt work either. Once the speedo cable was finally in the sheeth all the way, everything worked again. cnynracer1 08-21-2002, 12:33 PM Daniel, my odometer and trip meter mysteriously stopped one day also, at about 120k miles. Speedometer works fine. It's a rare problem with the 200sx's, only a few suffer from it. My old 200sx SE-R had almost 200k miles when it died, and the odometer still worked great. Toolapcfan 08-21-2002, 04:00 PM My XE's trip odometer was screwing up only at like 200 miles and would quit adding up, but unfortunately the regular odometer was still ticking away. Why dream about it? It should be a piece of cake to make the odometer stay off for as long as you like. Thanks for pointing out my mistake. :D SR20steve 08-23-2002, 08:22 PM Yea someone else has the same problem as me (or is that not a good thing) yea my 95 200sx SE-R has the same problem, the speedo and tach work fine but the odometer and tripometer dont work att all, I called the dealership and asked about this because I bought a warranty but they said it would not be a good idea to get it fixed with my warranty because having a prblem like that will void the warranty. because the waranty is a 2 year 24k. So fixing myself is the answer just havent got around to it. Any help would be appreciated.
