I know that i posted this in the sr20de tech section, i didnt know if that meant just the de block or if det was a part of that; but i figure that since the aviner is in my b14 that i would try and post it here as well. heres the story: I bought an sr20det aviner from an east coast company that i would rather not name, well i paid them to swap all the bearings and they didnt; so it spun a rod bearing. My friend that i paid to rebuild my motor pasted away about two weeks ago, so not only did i lose a friend but i lost about 500 bucks and now have to figure this out on my own. I have some buddies that are helping me do the rebuild (they know what they are doing, i dont )and once i get the block out i am taking it to a machine shop to get it rotating again but i could use advice on what parts i will most likely need to get, and where to get gaskets and all that good stuff.
