anyone know of any clutch faqs?
I plan on swaping out my clutch soon and I want a little insight on the process. are there any specific things or problems I need to look for out for while doing the swap?

Try the following 2 links:

GA16 but good general info from Nissan Performance Mag (http://www.nissanperformancemag.com/september00/clutch.shtml)

Vry nice info from The Arcstarter (http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/Hangar/6160/se-r/clutch.html)

Now the last one is difficult since the page has been closed for a long time but the info in there was GREAT and STEP-BY-STEP.

Go to the web page www.archive.org.
In there paste the following link in the box you will see:

http://ai.eecs.umich.edu/people/rchong/clutchjob/

VOILA!!! Follow any of the links that will be returned and you get the info from the long-gone and missing page!!!
No pictures but the text is still great!!!

The write-up that I used when doing my clutch is this one: http://nismopc.tripod.com/clutch_job.htm . I researched quite a bit and this was the best that I found. Also go search se-r.net (http://www.se-r.net) . You'll find answers to questions you might have by searching the archives

Yea, I had printed off Ronald Chongs clutch procedure quite a few years ago. Once I found that his site had been shut down I just recently scanned it back in using OCR text scanning and posted it on my site. I am glad to here that it is working for others as well.

That was an excellent write up. I also did research and couldn't find any better :D

You still need to have a FSM or Haynes/Chilton's near by for torque spec's and some other little things.
