well, they only show them in a 17. which: A. im sure theyre heavy as hell, and B. WILL rub. 17's are just too big for a classic, IMO. 16s are the biggest i would go. BTW, i have 15s on my car :)

I say yes. I like them. I had 17 inch rims on my Classic for about 3 years and never had problems. I love the way Classics look with 17 inch wheels. I am rolling on 15's now because I am more into peformance over looks..

Wow It funny how things have changed in my eyes!

I like the way 17's look also, I dont like too much of a gap in the wheel well. I dont see how they would hurt performance. I understand that they would be heavy, but even though they are bigger, that means the top speed will be higher wont it?

I would like the SE-L rims, but its almost like everyone has them (or at least the 200sx rims) I would like somthing different if you know what I mean.

i had 17s on a classic with eibach sportlines and kyb non adjustables, and the ride was not too comfortable. if you are not picky about how the car rides, then go for it. if you have the agx, that might help as well.

I don't like them, but I don't see a problem with running 17X7's. In fact it's the largest i'll ever go when it comes to rims on the sentra.

They deffinetly would look good on a classic, but I'm not too sure on the size...Just my opinion.

But I say it's totaly up too you if want 17's then by all means go for it....;)

I like those wheels. probably kinda heavy, but oh well, no heavier than mine. I've got a white 94 se-r with tenzo AV-7's all white and they get hella grip, but slowed me down off the line. Top end a little faster but nothing to write home about. As far as fitting, I had to get spacers in the back so my wheels wouldn't rub on the shock. Can't remember the size of spacers, but something like 5mm. Then they rubbed on the lip of the fender, but a little bending and grinding and no more rub there. They also rubbed on the rear mud flaps. The demel tool on that plastic fixed my probs. Now I'm in 17 inch heaven. Looks kick ass. I say go for em.

Keep in mind that everyone has their own opinion towards what wheels go on there cars, folks.

nismoman20,

If you think they'll look good on your car, go for it! If you get them, make sure to post some pics to other people know what they look like incase they want the same kind of setup. There's not a whole lot you can do to our SE-R's to make them look different, but 17's is definitely one of them. The majority of people on here (including me) like performance over looks, but there's nothing wrong with a great looking SE-R to pop up.

If you want them, go for it. :)

sadly, i have to say i do not like the wheels at all. the fact that they are 17's just backs me up.

top speed would be higher in theory, but its kinda hard to go around running triple digit speeds everywhere. and i wouldnt think you would gain alot of top speed out of it anyways, since you would have to run a very low profile tire with that size wheel.
