TUNED200 08-21-2002, 10:13 PM what will fit my t25 manifold? will a t28 fit? if so, who makes a good t28. i want to get a larger turbo for an upcomming winter project, and figured i would start gathering info now. i plan on upgrading to 50lb or 550's and a cobra/ttz maf, so i can boost the hell out of it. does anyone know how much the stock tranny can take before it dies. my case is welded. If you want a bigger turbo see louis i just bought a t3/to4e brand new for 595 shipped and protech can make you a manifoild for around 350. also you will need a jgy fuel rail for the 50#lb.injectors and then cryo your tranny gears LanceSR20 08-24-2002, 11:12 AM you can use the t-28 from a pulsar. if you can find one you might be able to get it cheaper than buying it from a manufacturer.the t-28 can out perform the t-25 up top, but thats about it. you need to weigh the cost of it and the performance of it. and decide what you really want. i have a friend running a t-28 on his bb, along with a 75 shot and he runs 11.90's i believe all the lines bolt up. and it will fit you manifold. if your gonna turn up the boost on it, you should get the ftf fuel rail and the 50lbs to be safe. Brian spdracerUT 08-26-2002, 10:34 PM I think the t28 will physically bolt up to the BB manifold but when you go try to put the assembly onto the block, the turbo will hit the block. I guess you could make a spacer to push the manifold out.... or you could just buy a GTi-R manifold and sell the BB one and the t25.
